Juodvalkė Eglė

Eglė Juodvalkė – poetess.
She was born 28 January, 1950 in Chicago, USA.
In 1973 she finished her studies of Slavic and Lithuanian languages at Chicago University, then she studied theater art at Southern Illinois University. In 1975 she won University prize for the best woman’s support act in a play. From 1976 till 1995 she worked at Free Europe Radio in New York and München, in Lithuanian department.
A member of Lithuanian Writers’ Union since 1991.
