Sruoginis Laima V.

Laima V. Sruoginis (Laima Vincė) – translator, prose writer, essayist.
She was born 11 February, 1966 in Teaneck, New Jersey, USA.
She studied at Lithuanian Gymnasium in Lampertheim (Germany). In 1990 she finished her studies of English, German languages and art at Rutgers University (USA). Then she got her Master’s degree at Columbia University. In 1994 she came to Lithuania to give lectures on translation theory and creative writing (Fulbright program) at Vilnius University and Vytautas Magnus University.
A member of Lithuanian Writers’ Union since 2011.
