Although there are a lot of discussions on equal rights, in real life womans position in the society is worse than that of men. It is especially relevant speaking of female creators. They have to "fit in" their creative activities in between domestic duties and roles which have the priority: they maintain – "feed" their families, they are wives, mothers, housewives, etc. Even harder is Georgian female creator’s situation: their casual life is often related to general survival questions. A lot of them have lost their husbands in recent war, or they are missing, and women alone have to take care of their children and household. As it is seen, the social activity question is very current and delicate also among female writers. The main aim of this project – Lithuanian and Georgian women fiction writer bilingual "conversation" on life relevant questions. We would like to invite five writers from Georgia and five from Lithuania to our workshops. We would like to invite five writers from Georgia and five from Lithuania to our workshops. During these workshops, with help from translators, one short story on social problems of each participant would be translated and put online on Lithuanian Writers Union webpage www.rasytojai.lt, and next year, if we get founding, we would like to publish bilingual selections of these short stories. This selection should reflect real, not only social but also spiritual, condition of contemporary women.
