Jablonskaja Tamara, poetess, prose writer.
Was born in Vilnius, on May 21, 1947.
Since 2004 - the member of LWU.
I attended the 17th Secondary School. My first poems were written when I was a pupil. When I was at my last form, the Moscow magazine published my first poem.
In 1965 I left for the North, to the building of the Obozerskaya-Sorokskaya railroad. I worked at the Archangelsk region and Vorkuta. Living in Vorkuta I was involved into activity of the citys literary association. My poems were often published in the Northern press.
In 1966 I came back to Vilnius. In Vilnius I started working at design bureau as a laboratory assistant. That very year I started my extramural studies at the Faculty of Philosophy of Leningrad University. In 1969 I was moved into the full-time studies. In 1973 I graduated from the University as a philosopher.
Having arrived in Vilnius, I worked awhile at VISI (Engineering Construction Institute of Vilnius) as a philosophy tutor.
Since 1983 till now I have been working at the Department of Publication at Martynas Mažvydas National Library of Lithuania.
