Vitalija Bogutaitė-Keblienė – poetess.
She was born 11 April, 1934 in Krakė, Kėdainiai district.
In 1944 she emigrated from Lithuania together with her parents. She attended Lithuanian gymnasium in Hanau (Germany) camp of the deported persons (DP). In 1950 she moved to USA. She attended the Baltimore High School and after that studied chemistry at the Maryland Notre Dame College. In 1966 she got a Master’s degree in Education. Till 1983 she worked as a teacher at the Redford Union gymnasium in Michigan and after that at Scotlandville Magnet High School in Louisiana. Her work has been published in anthologies and press in Lithuania and abroad. She is retired since 1995.
A member of Lithuanian Writers’ Union since 2002.
