Čepulis Apolinaras

Apolinaras Čepulis – prose writer.
He was born 13 March, 1933 in Akmenaičiai, Kuršėnai district.
In 1952 he finished Kuršėnai Secondary school and in 1957 he finished his studies at Kaunas Polytechnic Institute, Faculty of Mechanics. He worked at Vilnius Drill Factory and later as a chief constructor at Grinding-machines Factory of Vilnius. Also he was the head of Vilnius branch department of Institute of Scientific Researches of Metal Cutting Machines. In 1966 he defended a thesis for a degree at Vilnius University and in 1967 he defended a thesis for a technical Doctor degree. In 1969–1970 he was the president of the Young Scientists Club “Po Zodiaku” established in Vilnius. In 1983 – 1992 he worked as a departmental head of Machines Engineering at Refresher Institute of the National Economy. He has published more than 30 scientific articles and has 12 certificates for inventions.
A member of Lithuanian Writers’ Union since 2005.
