Evaldas Ignatavičius – poet.
He was born 8 February, 1967 in Ukmergė.
In 1992 he graduated from Vilnius University, Faculty of Philology. From 1991 till 1995 he worked at Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Lithuania as an official of Eastern and Middle Europe Department. From 1995 till 1998 he worked as an adviser at Lithuanian Embassy in Poland. From 1998 till 2000 he was the head of Eastern Europe and Middle Asia Department of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Lithuania. From 2000 he is a Consul of Consulate of the Republic of Lithuania in Kaliningrad. In 2001-2002 he worked as a Vice-Minister at Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Lithuania and from 2002 till 2003 he was a National Secretary. In 2002-2004 he gave lectures at Vilnius University Institute of International Relations. From 2004 till 2009 he was a special Ambasador in Germany, and a Vice-Minister of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Lithuania for ESBO. From 2013 he worked as an Ambassador of LR in Belorussia.
A member of Lithuanian Writers’ Union since 2010.
