Sergejus Kanovičius – poet.
He was born 10 May, 1962 in Vilnius.
In 1980 he finished Salomėja Nėris Secondary school. In 1985 he finished his studies of Lithuanian language and literature at Vilnius University. And worked as an editor of publishing house “Vyturys” and “Vaga”. From 1988 till 1990 he was one of cultural monthly “Sietynas” authors and founders as well as “Mecenava” (litvak-cemetary.info). He is an adviser of Jewish community in Lithuania on public relations. From 1990 he lives in Belgium. He writes in Lithuanian language.
A member of Lithuanian Writers’ Union since 2010.
