Bronė Liniauskienė – poetess.
She was born 20 March, 1923 in Žilioniai, Radviliškis district.
She finished “Saulė” Pre-gymnasium in Šeduva and Gymnasium for girls in Panevėžys. In 1963 she finished her studies of Lithuanian language and literature at Vilnius University and worked in Gargždai Pre-gymnasium and Skuodas Secondary school. During the years of 1960-1999 she worked as a teacher in Kretinga. She was in charge of literary club for students of higher classes for many years. She started writing poems when she was 10 years old and her debut in cultural press was in 1966. Her poems were translated into English, Latvian and Russian languages.
A member of Lithuanian Writers’ Union since 1983.
