Noak Jutta

Jutta Noak (true surname: Vaitkienė) – poetess, prose writer.
She was born 23 September, 1942 in Kaunas.
In 1965 she finished her studies at Kaunas Medical Academy and worked as a doctor for a long time. She was a member of doctor-writers union but her work appeared in cultural press only after Independence of Lithuania. Since 1998 she lives in Germany and is a member of Hamburg’s Author Union and Russian literary fellowship. From 2007 till 2009 she was a chairman of Lithuanian community in Hamburg. Since 2010 she is the head of Lithuanian-German cultural fellowship “LiT.art”. She is the author of the project “Judančios erdvės”. Her work has been published in almanacks “Bibliothek deutschsprachiger Gedichte”, “Источник”, “Stadtpark mon amour” and others.
A member of Lithuanian Writers’ Union since 2009.
