Sigitas Parulskis – poet, prose writer, playwright, literary critic.
He was born 10 February, 1965 in Obeliai, Rokiškis district.
In 1990 he finished his studies of Lithuanian language and literature at Vilnius University. He worked at editorial offices of “Aitvaras”, “Literatūra ir menas”, “Lietuvos aidas”, “Lietuvos rytas” and “Šiaurės Atėnai”. During the years of 2003-2007 he was an editor at “Šiaurės Atėnai”. In 2002-2003 he had a column in weekly magazine “Veidas”. Now he writes texts for various periodicals. His works have been translated into English, Albanian, Greek, Italian, Latvian, Polish, Slovenian, Swedish, German and other languages.
A member of Lithuanian Writers’ Union since 1994.
